Wine cooler not maintaining temperature, making unusual noises, or completely stopped cooling? A-Team's beverage appliance specialists in Adrian, MN fix all wine cooler brands with precision and a 90-day guarantee.
A wine collection is an investment sometimes a significant one. Whether you've assembled a carefully curated cellar of aged bottles or simply enjoy keeping a well-stocked fridge for everyday entertaining, a malfunctioning wine cooler puts everything at risk. Temperature swings of even a few degrees can accelerate the aging of delicate wines, cause corks to expand and contract, and ultimately ruin bottles that took years to acquire. At A-Team Appliance Repair, we treat wine cooler repairs with the urgency and precision your collection deserves.
Wine coolers operate very differently from standard refrigerators, and repairing them requires specialized knowledge. Thermoelectric units use a Peltier module rather than a compressor and refrigerant a completely different cooling technology that requires a different diagnostic approach. Compressor-based wine coolers share more in common with refrigerators but often involve tighter tolerances, more precise temperature staging for dual-zone units, and sensitive vibration characteristics that affect wine quality. Our Adrian, MN technicians are trained on both types and carry parts for all major brands.
Every wine cooler repair we perform begins with a methodical diagnostic to identify the root cause not just the symptom. We test the compressor or Peltier module, measure temperature accuracy in each zone, inspect the door gasket and seal integrity, check the evaporator and condenser fans, and test the control board and display. You receive a written quote before we begin any repair, and every job is backed by our 90-day parts and labor warranty. When we leave your Adrian, MN home, your cooler is holding temperature precisely and your collection is safe.
Most appliance repair companies only service compressor-based cooling units. A-Team technicians in Adrian, MN are trained on both thermoelectric (Peltier) and compressor wine coolers so regardless of what you own, we have the expertise and parts to repair it correctly.
Thermoelectric wine coolers are prized for their vibration-free, whisper-quiet operation qualities that directly protect wine quality during aging. When a Peltier module begins to fail, temperature inconsistency appears gradually before complete failure. We catch these faults early and replace modules before your collection suffers. For compressor-based units, we service everything from the refrigerant system and compressor to the dual-zone temperature controllers and UV-filtering glass door assemblies.

"48-bottle wine cooler stopped cooling. Failed thermostat replaced same day. Our wines are safe and it runs perfectly again."
"Wine fridge fan was incredibly loud. Evaporator fan motor replaced, now runs silently. Excellent professional service!"
"Built-in wine cooler door not sealing right, temperature swinging. Door gasket replaced, now holds temp perfectly."
"I have a Kalamera 15-inch thermoelectric wine cooler built into my kitchen cabinetry, and it had started running several degrees warmer than the set temperature not enough to be obvious, but enough to concern me for my aged Burgundies. The A-Team technician diagnosed a failing Peltier module and replaced it same day. He also verified temperature accuracy with his own calibrated thermometer after the repair. Precise, knowledgeable work that I wouldn't trust to just any appliance company."
"My Sub-Zero wine storage unit one of the 24-inch undercounter models completely stopped cooling one evening. I called A-Team the next morning in a near panic about my collection. The technician arrived by noon, diagnosed a failed compressor start relay, replaced it from stock on his van, and ran a full temperature cycle test before leaving. The unit was back to holding perfect temperature within hours. The technician clearly understood what was at stake and treated the repair with appropriate urgency. Exceptional service."
"Our Wine Enthusiast 166-bottle dual-zone unit had the upper zone running cold and the lower zone not cooling at all. I assumed it would be a major, expensive repair. The A-Team tech diagnosed it as a stuck dual-zone damper control and a faulty zone thermistor both inexpensive components. He had both on his van and fixed the whole thing in about 90 minutes for a very reasonable price. He also cleaned the condenser coils while he was there as a courtesy. Honest, thorough, and great value."
